I once toyed around with the idea of becoming an owner of a hockey franchise. Yup, I thought about becoming an owner when I spotted the perfect idea on a recent search through eBay.
This person was selling the team's jersey's that they no longer needed. Apparently, this team called the "knights" had lost interest in staying a team. The on-line auction was giving away all the jerseys. And they were the perfect looking jerseys too. They were the current black and gold style with the knight logo that was once used on an old UHL franchise.
I tried bidding for them as it was only going to be about just under $100. Almost $12 for each jersey was a fair price to ask for the 6.
But, I didn't have money to just use like that at the time and I also didn't know 5 other friends who would want to be on the team with me. I guess my dream of owning my own hockey franchise is going to have to wait.
