WE MADE IT!!! 9AM to 9AM EST Blogathon for 2007! WOO HOOO!!!!!!
I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to read this blog and donate to the Mario Lemieux Foundation. It is a great cause for it is a strong philanthropy that donates to finding cures to cancer related illnesses.
It is not too late.. I do believe the Blogathon can still collect money donations afterwards for a couple of days. I guess that is what they would call "after hours" dealing.
Big shout out goes to my new blogging buddies in California. Debi and Lisa, I am so proud of you both! I will honor my donation soon and will pray for your departed father/grandfather. "The Empire" will certainly have big days ahead.
Another big thank you is to Chris in Philadelphia who let me know he was reading my blog posts and gave me some awesome suggestions - even when he was a tired and hurting little ducky. I will honor my donation to your charity.
Once again, please consider money contributions to all the causes that I have listed as links on the designated section to the right. I do not know the final tally, but it is certainly a huge success considering this was done on a whim and at the last minute. I didn't have any time to pre-hype it or advertise my efforts or anything. As for next year, yea, I did say that I was thinking of it and I had my charity picked out, but I will see what the future holds for me and for what date they should have it on.
I will be going back to my primary blog starting tonight or tomorrow as to whenever I recover from this blogathon.
