One of the usually successful money raising charity efforts is the marathon. Instead of just having your hand out and asking for money, then it looks a lot more promising and more sincere if the efforts are labored in such manner.
So, I'm no stranger to witnessing a lot of broadcasters who go on marathons for charity. Mr. Ed Carr, a long suffering cancer survivor himself, is going on a 56 hour marathon of appearing on the popular live blogging site BlogTV.com. A variety of good DJs which also includes those radio personality wannabes are over there at that site. So, with the aid of the DJ_EMO-HOWLINGWOLF BlogTV channel, Mr. Carr is hoping to use his internet radio website to raise money for the American Cancer Society by sitting on his ass in front of the computer for 53 hours straight.
You can donate to his ChipIn module so it collects right to his PayPal account and he will take care of the rest.
I hope the best for him and his efforts this weekend. It's people like him that make an effort to make a difference. Why don't you go over there and help him with some spare change or support.
