Hockey Equipment

I think I will chose to talk about the hockey equipment that I have collected lately. I went to a local hockey place in Monroeville, PA called the House o' Hockey. I haven't used it yet in game sessions yet, but when I get the chance, I will surely be reporting it on my main blog or perhaps sharing the video on youtube.

The Mission hockey helmet replaces the Jofa roller hockey helmet that I bought a few years ago that really didnt quite fit. Mission took great care in making sure the user can survive a good blow to the head. You have already seen a photo of me wearing them in an earlier post.

The new mission roller hockey skates have been used just once unfortunately, but I am hopefully going to get a lot more use out of them in the coming week. I took them out to Presque Isle and skated around the bike path there for 4 miles (2 miles each, out and back). They held up nicely and I am glad that I got some exercise in them.

The next piece I would like to get is the Mission pants for in-line hockey. They seem inexpensive and they look great. Anybody want to contribute to the Mike needs a new pair of hockey pants foundation?
